News 1 August Mentor/Facilitator Meet and Greet

The meet and greet session for the August Mentors will be held Sunday, August 2nd from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Campground (circle up area). We will be reviewing mentor responsibilities, harnesses, knots, and belaying techniques. In addition, we will be cleaning up element areas and setting up the elements. We look forward to seeing you then!

News 2 Welcome Mentors and Campers

The Northern Berkshire ROPES Staff is looking forward to great camps this year! Below you will find a few rules/reminders so we may all have a safe and enjoyable camp. Please arrive at the Historic Valley Campground main parking lot by 8:00 AM on the Monday of camp. We ask that you dress appropriately: Keep in mind we have camp rain or shine. Sneakers, or boots (No sandals, flip flops, or open toes shoes allowed). Shorts ( MUST be lower thigh to knee length) or pants. Team color tee shirts will be provided the first day. Sweatshirt or jacket (if weather indicates). Each Camper should bring daily: Bathing suit and towel, sunscreen, any medication for which we have written permission to administer (prescriptions should be in original packaging), ROPES water bottle (will be provided on the first day). Morning snack/Lunch/ afternoon snack are all provided by the ROPES program (should your child have dietary restrictions, you might consider sending appropriate foods with them) Campers will be dismissed at 4:00 PM at the upper (Windsor Lake) Parking Lot (mon-Thurs) Friday Dismissal is at 2:00 PM. NO electronics of any kind (IPads, IPods, Computers, Cell Phones, etc...) will be allowed to be used during camp. If you choose to send a cell phone with your child, it must remain in their back pack. The ROPES program or its staff IS NOT responsible for any item lost or stolen. We look forward to having a great 2015 Camp!
